Almost by accident, I\u2019ve realized the troubled dtmf problem with Google Voice now seems resolved, but not sure since when. When I walk my dog around my neighborhood, my Google Voice \u2018trunk\u2019 at my Asterisk based home pbx is being tested from my cell phone.\u00a0 My home pbx setup based on Nerd Vittle\u2019s PIAF (Pbx-in-a-flash) distribution takes my GV DID to one of my extension which already has a voice-mail capability. When I\u2019m outside house, the extension will take GV call, prompting to leave messages and also presenting more options like deleting, rewinding messages using dtmf tones.\u00a0 Previously, the dtmf tones got blocked by Google by some unknown reasons.\u00a0 But not any more!
