No, still my php upload limit is set to 8M (with godaddy shared host), prevents me from uploading bigger sized file. Changing php settings with shared host environment is downright miserable experience, not recommended (probably close to impossible. But a wonderful WordPress plugin 100% solved this annoying headache in a second! With plugin named “Add from server”, I was able to make any ‘media’ files which were ftp’d onto ‘upload’ folder recognized by WordPress’ media manager. This plugin literally instantly solved this stupid php 8M upload size limit. Thanks to the plugin author: Dion Hulse.
